KOREY BUCKLES

Korey Buckles completed a three year Architectural Technology program at George Brown College, where he became grounded in the fundamentals of design and construction. HIs proficiency at AutoCAD led him to become a tutor for other students in second and third year. After graduation he began working in the construction industry as a draftsman, designing and drafting between 35 to 80 homes per year. Within 3 years, Korey became more involved in the construction side of the industry, where he began managing timelines, the coordination of trades, material takeoff’s and ordering. He also conducted on-site visits, inspections, and other tasks associated with building 150 units a year. During this time, Korey became an advanced user of SoftPlan, the residential design program, and completed the province-legislated courses and exam to acquire his BCIN. With eight years of experience in the construction and home design industry, Korey decided to start his own business in his hometown, Campbellford. Since its inception, KB Consulting has worked on a variety of projects, from the smallest of decks to extremely large custom homes, as well as industrial and commercial buildings.
